8. The Site was developed in 2007 as a service provided by GSK Hong Kong. This Site provides selected information available about a range of disease topics. Like any printed material, it may become out of date over time. It is important that consumers rely on the advice of a health care professional to employ good clinical judgment for the specific conditions of individual patients. This information is not intended to be a substitute for the advice of a health care professional, or a recommendation for any particular treatment plan.

Notwithstanding that some information provided herein may constitute part of the particulars registered in respect of the relevant drugs with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board in Hong Kong, all information included in this Site is only a summary provided for academic reference only. General Indemnity

You will cooperate as fully as reasonably required in GSK's defence of any claim. GSK reserves the right, as its own expense, to assume the exclusive defence and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you and you shall not in any event settle any matter without the written consent of GSK.

Limitation on Use & your Indemnity of GSK

Privacy and Use of Personal Information

18. Information Processing: GSK operates internationally, and many of our computer systems are currently based in Hong Kong Special Administration Region ("HKSAR"), your personal data will, if required, be processed by GSK in HKSAR where data protection and privacy regulations may not offer the same level of protection as in other parts of the world, such as the European Union. By using this Site, you consent to the collection and/or processing in HKSAR of your personally identifiable information, which includes the use of cookies.
